How do you succeed when no one gives you an opportunity to succeed?
How do you succeed when no one offers you a hand?
How do you get out of that desperate situation when you can’t seem to see the exit door?
How can they say you are incompetent even before they speak to you?
How can you be so worthless because of a piece of paper, a document?
How does one piece of paper describe you when you have a book to tell your story?
How can life be so unfair to others while the same life buries others in treasures?
How can’t you understand my situation especially since you were once seated where I am seating?
You once felt my pain and suffering, but now you deny me of what you were once given
You were able to raise your head, but now, you are trying to sink mine
You didn’t deserve it years ago, but yet someone took compassion upon your soul
Yet today you stand before me, denying me with no remorse.
How can you be so selfish and inconsiderate to others?
