Accessorizing the Red in my Closet

By Daniella Djiogan

Red is a color of sophistication, elegance and class. I personally love red because it makes me look chic and feminine. However, I rarely wear it because I haven’t found lots of occasions to look my best. You can’t go out to a movie theater looking like you were going out clubbing or for an elegant soiree? You can’t go out to the library dressed all out, it’ll look way out of proportion. You can’t be that only friend in the group who is overdressed? It will look imbalanced.

So, you don’t only need the right occasion to wear red, but you need to know how to wear it when you get the chance?

Lately, I have acquired a hobby of taking pictures of my dresses. I accessorize my outfits and take pictures of them, so that I know what shoes go with what dress and so forth.

Because typically, I spend way too much time trying to figure out what to wear and how to wear it. I can’t even begin to recall the countless times I have been late for appointments because I couldn’t bring myself to decide what to wear.

Having pictures gives me an idea of what I can go off from. It’s brilliant, and fun.

Here’s how I styled some of the red in my closet.
