What if Sue Storm (the girl) was the villain in Fantastic Four? I don’t know if you guys have seen the newest version of the movie, but if you did, you will realize that it doesn’t easily give off who the bad guy might turn out to be. It kind of forces you to engage in this guessing game why you try to figure out who will be the villain; Will it be Ben Grimm (the childhood best-friend) or Victor Von.
At the beginning of the movie, I suspected it would be Victor Von, but in the back of my mind, I thought may be…just may be there would be a new spin to the original version. I mean, it would have been great if the best-friend turned out to be the bad guy, but I think what would have been even cooler was if the enemy turned out to be the Sue Storm played by Kate Mara.
A woman typically is portrayed as either the heroine in movies, the love interest, or she’s just there for the sake of balance. I don’t know why or how I had this thought, but I did. I thought, maybe Hollywood needs a solo female super villain with tremendous supernatural powers.
We all know villains don’t win most battles, but just for the sake of entertainment, I think it would be genius. Can you imagine …to be able to see a girl kick guys’ ass…priceless (Not that I’m sexist or anything). It sure will be interesting to see guys exhaust their energies as they fight a woman….hehehe…LOL!
Anyways, perhaps I am just crazy or maybe I just want to see something different in movies these days.
