I am out of Inspiration

I am out of inspiration at the moment

Perhaps it will come in a day or two

Searching my mind for one usually doesn’t help

No, it does…sometimes

But such materials are never favored

I’d rather write something from the heart

From a feeling I’ve lived and understood at the moment

Thank God for my impulsive mind….sometimes

For it sure does come in handy when needed

I wish I could be inspired at the moment

And I wonder what sort of inspiration it will be this time.
