None of you does. If you believe in God, like I do, then I believe that God owns me.
Not any of you.
I don’t owe you my time, devotion, heart, and love.
It’s up to me who deserves them. Not you. You can’t decide that for me.
You can’t tell me how I should live my life, how I’m supposed to react to things, how I should be, and what my heart should feel. It’s not your responsibility to manage my everything.
If I give you my time and love, that’s on me. You have no right to demand those from me.
Somethings are meant to be given and received, not forced and demanded.
I own me. Not you. Or anyone else.
And you don’t own me.
